Have you ever wondered, "What does God want me to do?" God does have a plan for how people can make a difference in the world. God has given each of us spiritual gifts, passions and our own unique style meant to equip us to serve faithfully from our hearts. Explore who you are as God’s child and a disciple of Jesus Christ and discover the gifts God’s given you and how best to use them for the sake of pouring grace into a hurting world.
What special talents has God given you? What fuels your passion? How can you use your experiences to build a future that utilizes your unique spiritual gifts? Find out through exercises, think-sheets and lively discussion during the Spiritual Gifts Workshop series this fall. Join the fun in the gym during the Sunday School hour (10:10) over the last three weeks in September. Some Sunday School classes may attend together. In a class or not, all are welcome to participate. The sessions, led by Katie Ruback, will reprise the popular workshop she conducted at our church wide retreat last spring, and will run concurrently with Pastor Tracey’s sermon series on the same topic during worship.
How can you use the special talents God has given you to make a difference in the world? How can your resources and talents be linked to the needs of our community? Find out by attending the WUMC Ministry Link Fair on Sunday, September 30. Join the fun in the gym during Coffee Time (10:10) and after the second service (12:15.). You will have the opportunity to browse numerous ways our church and community can utilize your unique gifts.
