I was born and raised in the United Methodist Church. As the daughter of two pastors, I lived much of my childhood within the church walls. I supported youth and children’s ministries, preached occasionally, and worked on many volunteer projects. I received my call to ministry after I graduated from Tennessee Wesleyan University with a Communications Degree. God called me to attend seminary and spend my life working in the ministry. I followed this call to Atlanta, GA and graduated from Candler School of Theology at Emory with my MDiv. God then lead me to leave Atlanta and head to Austin, TX. I have made a new home here as I continue to work towards ordination and learn new ministerial skills. When I’m not doing ministry work, you can find me doing some country dancing at the nearest dance hall! I am excited to be a part of the wonderful community at Westlake UMC and continue working towards God’s call!
