This year marks 50 years of worship in the WUMC sanctuary, and that calls for a party. Join in right after worship on Sunday, July 12, for food, fellowship, and celebration in the gym.

The Fellowship Committee will be firing up the grill for hamburgers and hot dogs — just bring a favorite side dish or dessert to share. Whether you've been part of this congregation for decades or it's your first Sunday, come enjoy the afternoon, connect with familiar faces, and meet some new ones.

The celebration will also include a special recognition of Octavia Smith's generous gift to WUMC's Permanent Endowment — a gift that helps carry this church's ministry into its next 50 years.
