Music has always been a passion of mine. I was born and raised in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, surrounded by a family of church musicians. I received degrees in music education from the University of Delaware and Texas State University. Currently, I teach middle school band in Austin ISD. Prior positions include middle school band in Hays CISD, middle school band/chorus/general music/musical theatre in New Jersey, and elementary band/orchestra in Maryland. I have served as the Westlake UMC handbell choir director since 2023.

I also have a passion for the marching arts—I marched with the Blue Stars Drum & Bugle Corps (DCI) in 2012-2013 and with United Percussion (WGI) in 2014. Since 2022, I have served as a brass instructor with the Pacific Crest Drum & Bugle Corps based in Southern California. Other hobbies include singing, traveling, hiking, camping, and attempting to grow plants. I live in Kyle with my husband, Eli, and our cat, Maple.
