I developed a passion and obsession for music at an early age, and never really outgrew it. After too much time in college I managed to acquire degrees in piano, organ and church music from The Eastman School of Music, Southern Methodist University, and The University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
I spent many years as a staff accompanist at UN-L, and have been organist and organist/choir director at numerous churches. I’ve performed under the batons of John Rutter and Robert Shaw, and once played the Durufle Requiem at a performance with Madame Durufle in the audience. I live in the Wimberley area with my wife Bonny and two poorly trained border collies, Amber and Sparky. Nearby are four grandkids and one or two on the way.
